October is AAC Awareness Month!! To celebrate, we are having a AAC challenge for educators, therapists, and parents! You need to video yourself using an AAC device, you need to compose the sentence: ”My next door neighbor threw toilet paper at my house because I took her Halloween candy!” The fastest person who composes the sentence wins a 60 minutes consultation session with Lydia Dawley. Submit your video by October 31st, and Lydia will email the winner by November 4th.

You can’t practice composing the sentence beforehand.

You have to use the symbol base buttons mainly, but if a word isn’t a symbol base button, you can use the keyboard!

You only can use your fist or use the method your student uses!
