October is AAC Awareness Month!! To celebrate, we are having a AAC challenge for educators, therapists, and parents! You need to video yourself using an AAC device, you need to compose the sentence: ”My next door neighbor threw toilet paper at my house because I took her Halloween candy!” The fastest person who composes the sentence wins a 60 minutes consultation session with Lydia Dawley. Submit your video by October 31st, and Lydia will email the winner by November 4th.

The rules are:

  1. You can’t practice composing the sentence beforehand.

  2. You have to use the symbol base buttons mainly, but if a word isn’t a symbol base button, you can use the keyboard!

  3. You only can use your fist or use the method your student uses!

GOOD LUCK!!!
